As they deserve to be treated. I take better care of my humans- both the humans I am bonded to in blood and my pets- than many vampires are known to. A thousand years on this planet has taught me to respect life and I do so. I only kill those who deserve such a fate and do not harm those who are actually kind to my race. I do not know if that qualifies as treating them well or not, but it is my approach all the same.
